4 MAIN REASON WHY YOU HAVE POOR INDOOR MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL COVERAGE

POOR REASONS FOR POOR SIGNALS

The struggle to get a good mobile signal, especially indoors for most people , has been in existence since the genesis of mobile phones. This is particularly unbearable owing to the fact that eighty five percent of all cell phone calls are made indoors.

The ability of mobile network towers to give uninterrupted signal is necessary for successful indoors mobile Coverage. Radio frequencies are used by operating towers to transmit phone signals (RFs). These frequencies are prone to being weakened by various factors.

The following are the main reasons why people experience poor indoor cell phone connectivity.

1 PROXIMITY THE MOBILE TOWER

Your distance from the Tower can significantly reduce the level of signal strength you get on your mobile phone and also take longer for the signal to reach you, and the weaker it becomes. There are fewer cell towers in rural and distant areas of the country to broadcast signals to you. so putting a few natural obstacles like trees and mountains  between you and the mast, you’re likely to have poor connectivity.

However, this isn’t just a concern in rural or distant areas. Despite the fact that urban regions have more towers, the many man-made structures between your building and the mobile tower can block mobile signals from reaching your building. But there is however, a solution for this which we will explain further in due course.

It is often found that the side of the building nearest to the tower always has great signal, whereas the opposite side suffers from poor coverage.

Looking For Cell Phone Signal

2. TOPOGRAPHY

The surrounding area’s landmark  has a significant effect on the cell signal within your building. If the network tower is on a hill, but you live in a valley surrounded by trees, your mobile signal will most likely be weak. Mountains, hills, and woods act as natural barriers to cell signals, absorbing them before they reach you.

3. NATURAL CAUSES

The weather conditions can also affect the signal level on your mobile phone and how you make and receive calls. Heavy rain storms, dense fog, or various adverse weather conditions can easily disrupt the mobile signal. These weather conditions again adversely affect your mobile phone signals.

4. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

The proximity to the mobile network mast, mountains, trees, and weather conditions all play a role in the how far or well the mobile phone signal boosters work, the most significant impediment to indoor mobile signal coverage is construction materials. Most modern buildings are constructed with materials that are good for the buildings but bad for the penetration of mobile phones signals. Materials such as thick brick walls, insulations and treated glasses, concrete, or metal are notorious mobile signal blockers.

SO HOW CAN YOU GET MOBILE SIGNAL INSIDE?

All hopes are not lost as we have worked and are still working tirelessly with top notch RF  (Radio Frequency Engineers to ensure we provide you with a solution at affordable prices. If you have at least 1 bar of signal a few metres away from your property our system can help pull this signal, refine and amplify it throughout  your home or offices.. Our boosters are built with everyone in mind in terms of prices and affordability.

Our devices are quite easy to install with the ability to provide a steady and uninterrupted  voice and data connection.

For a basic formation the booster comes with an (1) Outdoor antenna or Logarithm antenna (2) The booster (Main Unit) (3) 10/15 m Cable and (4) An Indoor Antenna

It work by the Outdoor antenna which is mounted in the roof or at least on a 10m pole, pulling the available phone signal outside the property through the 10 metre cable into the Booster, the booster then process and refine this little signal and amplifies and then distributes it throughout the house indoors, through the indoor distributing antenna.
